After winning 17 Grand slams, and holding the world No. 1 position for over 300 weeks, Roger Federer has nothing to prove when it comes to tennis, and he is without a doubt, one of the greatest athletes in the world. RF is also a very fashionable sport figure and every collection created for him by Nike has his stamp on it: elegance and class.
To celebrate the building legacy of Roger Federer, NikeLab has designed an off-court collection embracing his passion for tennis and fashion, which includes apparels and two Air Zoom Tennis Classic Ultra Flyknit. The Flyknit treatment gives a modern and comfortable look to the Tennis Classic, and the “RF” logo on the tongue adds a sophisticated touch to the shoes. All pieces are very well executed and will definitely elevate the fashion sense in the tennis world.
For the occasion, NikeLab 1948 has created a special installation which displays London-based artist Toby Melville-Brown and The Art of Ping Pong’s artworks, inspired by Roger Federer’s career.
The NikeLab x Roger Federer collection is available now in NikeLab 1948 in London, and will release globally on June 30th, at select NikeLab locations.
