BARBICAN LDN.

As iconic landmarks on the London landscape like the brutalist yet relentlessly curious Barbican stand timelessly still, the world around it can move at a frantic pace.

This is something that has become more apparent to Director, Photographer and IDYSM Founder Lester Jones in the 10 years since he swapped London for life in Sydney, Australia.

On a recent visit back to his old home town he wanted to capture the essence of the cities driving force of new vs. old, a force that keeps the city growing, evolving and ever relevant.

Shot in and around the iconic Barbican Centre in London, the film Barbican focuses on 2 model/dancers; Shamel Kendrick and Benji Colson who represent the vibrant present and exciting future of the great city.

Both are multi-talented individuals who elegantly move and flow through the iconic landscape in looks brought together by  Ste Wing – Creative Director of Visionarism.

With music from Lucrecia Dalt, the piece offers an intriguing, and stylised take on London, the people and places that make it so influential and engaging, and the sense of style that stands it apart from anywhere else in the world.
